New Eco Hub arrives
Following a year of fundraising - we now have our Eco Hub
Thanks to the generosity of Harborough District Council and their Environment Grant, FORA and the support of our parents and local eco stakeholders, we now have our own outdoor teaching space - our Eco Hub.
Designed to seat 30 children and complete with a whiteboard (and soon to be fitted with a green energy pack including wind turbine and solar panel), the Hub will enable staff to run outdoor lessons as well as 'welling and mindfulness' breaks for children across the school. Situated close to our Sensory Garden, the Hub will also be used by our Gardening Club during damp lunch breaks, and for us to offer 'teach the grown-ups' gardening sessions with the help of local green-fingered organisations.
We can't wait for our next Project Pride Day, when we can invite everyone to come and have a look and get gardening!
