The Year 5/6 Table Tennis teams competed at South Wigston High school in the District Table Tennis finals.

The boys team played well to win both of their group game matches to secure a place in the final against Church Langton. Despite some brilliant table tennis, unfortunately the boys were defeated 3 games to 1 in this match. The boys were recognised for their sportsmanship throughout all of their games, and were the recipients of the Spirit of Play award.

The girls team played brilliantly and won 20 out of their 24 games during the tournament. This secured them a first place win for them to be crowned the Harborough and Blaby District champions. As a result, the will have the opportunity to compete in the county finals.
